Advanced Scuba Diver course
Your a certified scuba diver, become a better one. Increase your knowledge about scuba and learn new skills under the supervision of an instructor.
The Advanced Scuba Diver course is designed for any certified diver to improve their diving ability by performing 6 dives in varying environments while conducting various activities. Three of those dives include navigation, night, and deep diving.

This course is open to all University Park Penn State students, faculty, and staff members who meet the prerequisites for the course.
- Certification as an open-water scuba diver from a recognized certification agency as NAUI, PADI, SSI, etc.
- Medically cleared to scuba dive
- Payment in full of the course fee

Thursday, Sept 19, 2013 7:30pm - 9:00pm — Equipment rentals at the Natatorium
Saturday, Sept 21, 2013 8:00am - 10:00pm — Open-water dives at Blue Hole Quarry
Sunday, Sept 22, 2013 10:00am - 6:00pm — Open-water dives at Jay Street Bridge in Lockhaven, PA or Blue Hole Quarry
Monday, Sept 23, 2013 7:30pm - 8:30pm — Partial equipment return at the Natatorium
Thursday, Sept 26, 2013 7:30pm - 8:30pm — Equipment pickup at the Natatorium
Saturday, Sept 28, 2013 7:00am - 8:00pm — Open-water dives at Bainbridge Quarry for group 1
Sunday, Sept 29, 2013 7:00am - 8:00pm — Open-water dives at Bainbridge Quarry for group 2
Monday, Sept 30, 2013 7:30pm - 8:30pm — Partial equipment return at the Natatorium
Tuesday, Oct 1, 2013 7:30pm - 8:30pm — Final equipment return at the Natatorium
Attendance at all sessions is mandatory!
$355.00 per person which includes your equipment, transportation, and certification fees. You will need to provide a swimsuit, towel, food, and beverages for yourself.
There is a minimum of 3 students required to run the course at this price. If 3 students are not enrolled by the deadline, any students signed up will be given the opportunity to pay an additional $205.00 each to do the dives or receive a full refund.

How to register
Registration is done in person at the Adventure Recreation Center
You need to pay the full course fee in cash to secure your spot in the class.
Payments will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis from the first 8 people.
