2014 Junior Fall Tennis Programs

The Fall of 2014 junior programs will run Tuesdays & Thursdays, in the months of September and October, and all the information is now posted under the Junior Development section of this website.

Joel Johnson Scholarship Fund Round Robin

The 5th annual round robin social event to honor the passing of former employee Joel Johnson has been scheduled for Saturday, September 13, 2014. The social will run between 8 - 11 AM. Entry fee is a $15 donation per player. ( Please make checks out to Penn State University. ) Any and all additional donations will go to the Joel Johnson Junior Scholarship Fund in which we will annually award a recipient who is a pre high school player that shows a passion for the game of tennis and exemplifies excellent sportsmanship. If you would like to participate in the round robin or just donate to the scholarship fund, please come in to the pro shop or call 865-1381.

Adult Beginning Tennis Lessons

Starting, Tuesday, September 9, 2014, we will be having a session of 5 one-hour tennis lessons for beginners. These lessons will be Tuesdays and Thursdays up to and including Tuesday, September 23. Times for the 5 lessons are 5:30-6:30 P.M., at a cost of $75.00 per player. Instructors will be the Director of Tennis, Eric Dove, and Head Professional, Bill Potoczny. Spaces are limited, so call 865-1381 to sign up.

    Due to concerns with school dismissals, the fall junior development program has been pushed back 1/2 hour later than originally advertised. The new times are posted under the junior development portions of this website

    Please note that on Monday, September 1st the White Building will have amended hours of 2pm-10pm in observance of Labor Day.
