We are proud to offer the new American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety program! This program, developed in concert with USA Swimming and USA Diving offers a structured program based upon a child's developmental abilities. The newly released program includes not only basic swimming training, but also water safety education designed at teaching participants how to safely recreate in, on and around the water.
This course is not designed to teach you basic-level swimming skills. It is dedicated to developing the knowledge and skills you will need to plan and teach courses in the American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety program. To enroll, participants must be at least 16 years of age, and must pass a precourse skills assessment consisting of a 25 yard swim using each of the following strokes:

We are proud to offer the new American Red Cross Lifeguarding Program.
The Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor course is designed to prepare you to teach the Red Cross Lifeguarding, Shallow Water Lifeguarding, CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers, Administering Emergency Oxygen and Bloodborne Pathogens Training: Preventing Disease Transmission courses and/or modules.
Instructor candidates will also become familiar with Junior Lifeguarding, Lifeguard Management, Safety Training for Swim Coaches and Basic Water Rescue. Additionally, this course will fully recertify you in Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED, Oxygen Administration, and BBP:PDT programs.
