Masters Swimming

Penn State Aquatics provides training for adult swimmers (ages 19 and up) through the Masters program. Far from being just those who have "mastered" swimming, the Masters program caters to a wide range of individual goals, including recreation and fitness, competitive swimming, and training for triathletes.

View the training calendar below for "Masters" workouts.

November '09 Schedule

Masters Registration Form

To subscribe to the PSU Masters email list follow these directions:

The masters participants run an email list for distributing timely information about the program including scheduled workout times. To sign up for the list, send an email message to: mailserv@opus1.com In the message put the two words "subscribe psumasters" without the quotes. It doesn't matter what you put in the subject. You will immediately receive a confirmation back from the server.

Fill out a registration form and return it to C/O Rebecca Caylor McCoy Natatorium University Park PA 16802.   The fee is $60.00 for a semester.  After the semester is over you will receive an invoice for the $60.00 which then is payable to the Bursars office.

  • You may try masters free for a week to decide if the program is right for you.
  • Basic swimming skills are required to join the Masters program, as it does not include swimming instruction.
  • The Masters program provides supervised and highly varied one-hour workouts for a wide range of adult swimmers.
  • This is great place to meet and socialize with other adult swimmers in the Penn State community.
  • Masters participants can compete in adult age-group swim meets organized by United States Masters Swimming, triathalons, or other aquatics events.

For further information on Masters swimming, please email our coordinator Rebecca.
