Nat Indoor Pools Closed - Roofing Project Underway

On Monday, April 30th, the Office of Physical Plant commenced a roofing project at the McCoy Natatorium. This project required that we close the indoor pools as well as the dive well.

The indoor space within the Natatorium was completely covered with plastic to help prevent dripping tar from staining the interior. Access to the pool decks is still limited, given the combined effects of the ongoing nature of the project and the diminishing number of lifeguards available to work in late August. Our priority in the summer is to keep the Outdoor Pool open as much as possible. The Natatorium pools will be ready to re-open for the start of the Fall Semester.
