Junior Development Program

The Penn State Tennis Center will be offering tennis lessons for juniors ages 5-17. The session will be up to six weeks long sessions with emphasis on fun and at the same time learning the sport of a lifetime. The programs will emphasize proper fundamentals with strokes, footwork, and ball control.. Also, specific social skills focusing on good sportsmanship, proper tennis etiquette on and off the court. Eric Dove, USPTA Professional, Bill Potoczny, Head Tennis Professional, and a staff of trained professionals will teach the classes. We are asking all current and past junior development participants to please take a few minutes to fill out our junior development survery. As we strive to continue to provide you with top notch instuction, the information you provide will help us in achieving that goal. Click here to acquire the survey.

  • Tiny Tennis ( TT )  4:30-5:00 PM
  • Stars ( S ) 5:00-6:00 PM
  • Ready For Play ( RFP ) 5:00-6:00 PM
  • Competitive Training ( CT )  6:00-7:00 PM

 

Daily Fees for November / December Junior Development 

  • ( TT ) -  Members $6 / Non-Members $7
  • ( S, RFP, CT ) - Members $13 / Non-Members $18

 

Please Note - To stay compliant with policy AD39 of Penn State Code, we are required to have all participants fill out a medical treatment authorization form. This form is giving the Penn State Tennis Center and its employees of the programming consent to seek emergency treatment if needed.  Please click here for the form, fill out the information and hand it in before the start of the first class.
