| Club Description: |
Penn State Club Softball is a competitive team comprised of freshman, sophomore, junior and senior girls that square-off against other teams in the North Atlantic Region Southern conference each year.
This coming season will be the first year that our conference will be made up of four teams instead of three. Along with former conference competitors West Virginia and the University of Pittsburgh, we will welcome York College into the mix. This means that we will be directly competing against all three of these teams this season.
The Club Softball team is an all-year-around club that plays and practices in both the fall and spring months, and holds conditioning and hitting practices all through the winter months as well. During the fall and spring seasons the team practices four times a week outdoors at Sunset Park, which is located at the North end of campus. In the winter, hitting and conditioning activities are also held four times a week.
Last year, the team finished in 7th place at the World Series in Columbus, Georgia and looks to reach the national tournament again this season.
