The Club Sports Program at Penn State
University provides a variety of opportunities for PSU students,
faculty, staff, and community members to learn a new sport, make
friends, keep fit, and compete against other university clubs or
varsity teams. There are currently over 68 club sport organizations
totaling nearly 4,000 students that meet regularly for
practices, conduct demonstrations, host seminars, coordinate
social activities for members, and compete in regional and
national championships. Everyone, regardless of ability, is
welcome to participate; however, PSU University Park students
must comprise the majority of each club's membership. In
addition, only full-time PSU University Park students are
eligible to compete on behalf of the club.
